rs.ge glossary: Georgian tax and portal terms in English

By Mark Frost, founder and developer of MyIncome.ge · Updated September 5, 2026

The taxpayer cabinet at eservices.rs.ge, the declaration forms and the letters of the Revenue Service are in Georgian, and browser translation mangles exactly the words that matter: abbreviations, legal terms and the labels of dropdown lists. This glossary collects the sixty terms an individual entrepreneur with the 1% status actually meets, grouped by where they show up, with a transliteration for the ones you may need to say aloud at a service centre.

The one number the monthly form asks for, დასაბეგრი ბრუნვა, comes from converting each payment at the NBG rate for the day it arrived; the free NBG rate calculator does it for a single payment, and MyIncome.ge converts every payment and adds up the month's turnover and 1% tax so the declaration takes two numbers copied from the report.

Disclaimer: translations are given for orientation, not as legal definitions; the binding text is the Georgian Tax Code.

Frequently asked questions

What does დეკლარაცია mean?

A tax declaration, the form you file. On rs.ge the word appears in the menu (დეკლარაციები, declarations) and in the names of the forms; the monthly small business one is მცირე ბიზნესის სტატუსის მქონე პირის დეკლარაცია.

What is ბრუნვა on the declaration?

Turnover: the total received in the period. The 1% tax is calculated on დასაბეგრი ბრუნვა, taxable turnover, entered in lari with foreign-currency payments converted at the NBG rate for the day they arrived; the filing guide shows the calculation.

What is the difference between ჯარიმა and საურავი?

ჯარიმა is a fine, a fixed sanction for a breach such as a late declaration (Tax Code, article 274). საურავი is interest for late payment, 0.05% of the unpaid tax per day (article 272). Both appear on the personal account card as დავალიანება, debt.

What is ს/პ ნომერი on the login page?

The identifier for logging in: the personal number (პირადი ნომერი) for holders of a Georgian ID, the taxpayer identification number (საიდენტიფიკაციო ნომერი) for everyone else. See the login guide.

How do I read the rest of the cabinet?

With browser translation for menus and this glossary for the terms it gets wrong; rs.ge in English explains what is and is not translated.
