rs.ge login: how to get access, pass the SMS code and recover a lost password
By Mark Frost, founder and developer of MyIncome.ge · Updated September 5, 2026
An individual entrepreneur logs in to the Georgian tax portal at eservices.rs.ge with an identification number and a password, then confirms the login with a one-time code sent by SMS to a Georgian mobile number. Access is created when the entrepreneur is registered at the Public Service Hall, or through the registration link on the login page; a lost password is recovered through the link on the same page or at a Revenue Service service centre. Below is the whole path, including the two problems foreigners hit most: a foreign phone number and a page that is mostly in Georgian.
rs.ge and eservices.rs.ge are two different sites
rs.ge is the public website of the Revenue Service of Georgia: news, legislation, forms, contacts, with an English section. The taxpayer cabinet, where declarations are filed and the tax balance is shown, lives at eservices.rs.ge. The login button on rs.ge leads there. Bookmark eservices.rs.ge directly and be wary of look-alike sites offering "rs.ge login" help: the real login page has the Revenue Service logo and the information centre number 2 299 299 at the bottom.
Where your access comes from
When you register as an individual entrepreneur at the Public Service Hall, you receive a taxpayer identification number and, along with it, access to the cabinet; the details are tied to the Georgian mobile number you gave at registration. If you registered through a representative, ask them for the login details and change the password at first login.
If you have a number but no working access, use the registration link on the login page (Georgian: რეგისტრაცია). It asks for your identification number, your name exactly as in the registration extract and a Georgian mobile number, then lets you set a password. A Revenue Service service centre does the same on the spot against your passport.
Logging in step by step
- Open eservices.rs.ge. The top of the page has an ENGLISH VERSION link; the rest of the cabinet stays largely in Georgian, see rs.ge in English.
- Enter your identification number in the field labelled ს/პ ნომერი: the personal number for holders of a Georgian ID, the taxpayer identification number for everyone else.
- Enter the password.
- Enter the one-time code from the SMS. The page offers to resend the code, to send the code to e-mail and to change the phone number; the last option asks for extra verification.
- Once inside, the monthly small business declaration is in the declarations section; the filing guide covers it field by field.
A foreign phone number
The code goes only to Georgian mobile numbers. Two consequences. First, keep the Georgian SIM active if you leave the country: operators deactivate unused numbers after months without top-ups, and with the number goes your login. An eSIM from a Georgian operator solves this for people who spend most of the year abroad. Second, if the number has changed, update it before the 15th of the month: through the phone-change option on the login page or at a service centre with your passport.
Lost password or username
Use the recovery link on the login page (Georgian: მომხმარებლის / პაროლის აღდგენა). It works from the identification number and the registered phone or e-mail. If both the password and the phone are gone, a Revenue Service service centre restores access against your passport; the information centre at 2 299 299 tells you the nearest one. Do not wait for the filing window: a late declaration carries a fine even when the reason was a lost password.
Letting an accountant in
Never hand over your password. The cabinet has a section for authorized persons (Georgian: უფლებამოსილი პირი): you add the accountant by their personal number and choose the scope of rights, for example filing declarations only. They then see your taxpayer profile from their own login, and you can revoke the access at any time.
Common errors
- Entering the taxpayer number where the personal number is expected, or the other way round. Try the other identifier before assuming the account is blocked.
- Browser autofill inserting an old password; type it by hand.
- An inactive Georgian SIM. Check that the number still receives messages before the filing window opens.
- Waiting for the code with the wrong phone selected in the cabinet after a change of number.
- Sessions time out: if the page stops responding, log in again rather than resubmitting a half-filled form.
Once you are in, the numbers for the declaration are the hard part, not the portal: MyIncome.ge converts every payment at the NBG rate for its arrival date and adds up the month's turnover and 1% tax, so the form takes two numbers copied from the report; signing up is free.
Disclaimer: this material is general information, not tax advice. The rs.ge interface changes; verify current steps on rs.ge or with a qualified accountant.
Frequently asked questions
Is rs.ge the same as eservices.rs.ge?
No. rs.ge is the public website of the Revenue Service: news, forms, contacts, partly in English. eservices.rs.ge is the taxpayer cabinet where you file declarations and see your balance. The login button on rs.ge leads to eservices.
Can I log in without a Georgian phone number?
Not reliably. The one-time code goes to the Georgian mobile number registered with the Revenue Service. The login page offers sending the code to e-mail as a fallback, but keep an active Georgian SIM or eSIM: it is also needed for banks and the Public Service Hall.
I registered my IE but never received a password. What now?
Use the registration link on the login page: it asks for your identification number, your name as registered and a Georgian mobile number, and sets a password. If that fails, a Revenue Service service centre issues access on the spot against your passport.
What is the PIN for?
Some actions in the cabinet, such as signing a declaration, ask for a short PIN separate from the password. It is set during registration; if you do not remember it, restore it through the same recovery flow or at a service centre.
How often do I need to log in?
At least once a month: the small business declaration is filed and the tax paid between the 1st and the 15th. Log in a few days before the 15th so an expired SIM or a forgotten password does not turn into a late return; the filing guide walks through the form.
Can my accountant log in for me?
Do not share your password. In the cabinet you add the accountant as an authorized person by their personal number and choose the scope of rights, for example filing only. They then see your company in their own login.
